Land, red earth, blue sky, sea, beaches, reefs, minerals, farming, rainforests, people, towns, cities, flora, fauna, poetry, outback, events, explorers, culture, boomerangs, heritage, history, weather, heroes, skies, emotions, music, a dunny, fashion, language, literature, food, jobs, holidays, found items, political, satire, tourism, holden cars, surfers, vegemite and pies! Who can resist a koala, kanga, platypus, goanna…. what moves you to create an Australiana mosaic!

Abstract or realism, quirky or traditional, bring Australiana to your mosaics.
Explore your favourite mosaic materials, skills and style.
Challenge yourself to create original, amazing mosaics for this Exhibition.

Entries are welcome from all MAANZ members and non-MAANZ members national and international. Beginners to professional artists are encouraged to enter. Whether traditional style to cutting edge contemporary mosaics, simple or complex, mixed media, flat to 3D, wall hanging or sculpture, it’s your choice. Whether a wall-hung mosaic, a mosaic on a frypan, a sculpture – flat, curvy, or 3D we look forward to showcasing your mosaic artworks.

Presentation and Awards Night: Friday 11 September, 6 – 9 pm

Exhibition viewing: Wednesday 9th – Sunday 13rd September, 10am – 4pm, at the Percolator Gallery, Paddington, Brisbane.
