The Symposium Ticket Price

Early bird for MAANZ members gets 10% discount $407.70

Normal Price May 1st onwards

Non Member $515
MAANZ members get 10% discount $463.50

The ticket price includes entry to the symposium plenaries and vendors market, as well as all morning and afternoon teas during the plenaries, lunch and dinner on Saturday night and Finger Food on Sunday night. This year the symposium begins Thursday night 20th August with a vendor’s flea market and early registration, and goes through to the evening of Sunday 23rd Aug with an optional harbour cruise on Monday.

Workshops

All workshops run for a duration of 3 hours. Workshops are only available if you have registered for the symposium  Most of the workshops have a max of 15 attendees with only a few exceptions which you can read about here. The fee for all three hour workshops is $110 except for the Laticrete technical session which is $25

The Mosaic Arts Salon has a fee of $15 for exhibitors, free to others
Monday Harbour cruise is $65

The Registration Process

We are very excited to announce a one stop shop process for this years Symposium with the introduction of Eventbrite – an online event management program that will help us (the volunteers) and provide you with a smooth (we hope) registration process.

What to expect

There is a small booking charge for the use of this service which shows up as a fee on the registration page. This is an additional charge to the advertised symposium registration fee.

You can go back later to register for another event.

If you are not sure what workshops you wish to do then you can always come back again to register for more. No need to do all your registration at once. It’s a good idea to download the workshop calendar here. so you can work out which workshops to attend.

How You Can Pay

Credit Card or PayPal

The price of the symposium ticket already includes a 3% PayPal fee.  The registration process will take you through the Paypal system where you can choose to pay with your PayPal account or using a credit card (there is no need to have a PayPal account to use a credit card)

Direct Deposit

If you decide to pay by direct deposit then you will receive a 3% discount effectively removing the PayPal fee. You will  need to ‘click’ on ‘show other options’ under the registration button and follow the instructions for the ‘pay by cheque’ option which we have hijacked for Direct Deposit.
