Description : Learn from our keynote speaker about his style of mosaic.
Kii says “I make mural mosaics as a skin of architecture. A skin woven in marbles and smalts on the surface of the architectural space. So the texture has primary importance in my mosaic. The shadow and the density of tesserae carries my messages.” Learn how to create this style of texture with monotone marble material. You will create a small mosaic to take home.

Students to bring : Nippers, apron, spatula, tweezers etc. There will be some hammer and hardies onsite – if participants wish to bring their own they are welcome to do so.
