For the last 18 months, I’ve been watching the images of graphs, plotting the numbers of all things Covid related. As these statistics wash over us, we stick to our lanes, to lockdown, and separation. I chose to take those lines, and bend and mould them. During this time of forced introspection, our contribution as artists is to interpret the emotion and experience into something others can use to process what’s happening, but also to inspire and connect. The textural difference in materials demonstrates the golden days and the tough days we’ve all experienced.
