In the late 1960s, my family lived in Bangkok, Thailand for two years. My mother brought home this little brass Buddha in the centre as a keepsake.
Here, we were introduced to the Buddhist concept of the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Making merit, or doing good deeds in order to be reborn to a better existence, was part of everyday life.
One evolves, becomes, as life brings opportunities to understand and grow. The cycle of life revolves, as we in turn evolve.
