I was inspired by Guilio Menossi’s style of work. This led me to experiment with texture, line and colour to create a piece using the sun’s rays. My challenge was using a complementary palette where the laying of materials had to be done so that they did not tone in with each other. I used these colours to represent the emotions of happiness, passion, hope, and freedom that we are striving for in lockdown.
