Mosaic and mural artist David Jack co-founded Melbourne Mural Studio in 1989 and has worked for many years to provide mosaic artwork and painted murals to clients throughout Australia. He has had a fascinating career, including the thirteen years he spent working with Harold Freedman, the former State Artist in Victoria on various historically-themed large-scale public art projects. Belinda Conibeer is talking about Skewpicks and QuikStik Mosaic Mesh. She will bring samples to see and you can also purchase on the night as she has a card reader. Fiona Tettman always so knowledgeable has collated information from mosaic artists around Victoria and is going to share what she uses and tips too! Handouts of this will be given out. Hobart symposium – Think Beyond the Square

  More details about the symposium here. The Symposium committee is thrilled to announce our keynote speaker for the Hobart Symposium in 2017. Toyoharu Kii is based in Tokyo Japan. In June and July of this year he exhibited in Chicago and taught at the Chicago Mosaic School. He works mostly in marble and produces monochromatic works show interesting textures and andamento He is on the boardĀ of the Mosaic Art Association in Japan (MAAJ) and is a member of AIMC.
